Originally in 1971 the Danish designer Poul Volther crafted the Corona Chair and Stool from solid oak. Following further experimentation with various materials the EJ 605 was released a year later. The EJ 605 by Poul Volther closely resembled its predecessor but was now crafted in steel. The Poul Volther Corona Chair and Stool is a true original and completely unique in design using seemingly suspended concentric shapes to make up its form, and yet the Corona Chair and
Stool sacrifies nothing in the way of function, quality and comfort.
